After a dynamic executive position, Daniel successfully made the transition to retirement by mainly getting involved in sports associations. A former competitor himself, it was in Africa that he began his first challenges, in the Chadian mountains.

By frequenting the trail world, Daniel notices that long trails are more and more in demand in the region.

To respond to this, he decided to set up his own organization because ultimately what he likes most is being in the field, looking for new paths or reorganizing old ones.

“The creation of the Trails Festival was done with a handful of enthusiasts and many volunteers. »

He finds his satisfaction in the eyes of the runners who reach the end of their challenges.

Its objective would be to internationalize the UTNC, so that the event reflects the Caledonian landscapes.
